Introduction
THE GUELPH ENGINEERING LEADERSHIP PROGRAM STRIVES TO EQUIP STUDENTS WITH LEADERSHIP SKILLS THAT ALLOW OUR GRADUATES TO EXCEL IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL CAREERS.
The GEL Program will enable participants to:
- Create opportunities to identify with leadership beyond working in teams on their technical projects.
- Foster lifelong learning required for personal and professional growth
- Helps sharpen your Engineering Leadership Skills
- Join a community of engineering students invested in personal growth
Workshops
The program consists of 6 workshops on various engineering leadership topics. These workshops are offered through Fall 2022 and Winter 2023 and are open to all undergraduate (BEng) and course-based masters (MEng) students. Most workshops are offered online, but we are starting in-person ones too!
Students who complete at least 4/6 of the workshops will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment. In order to receive the certificate students must complete the Feedback Form at the end of each of the workshop which they have attended.
